It was an intense program, in public and emotions: we sang black spirituals and Christmas hymns with the Gospel Collective choir; we shared the joy and danced to the rhythm of the mornas and coladeiras eternalized by Cesária Évora in a vibrant concert in homage to the Barefoot Diva; we savored baroque classics and traditional Portuguese songs with the Coro de Câmara Lisboa Cantat e Orquestra conducted by maestro Cesário Costa; we traveled back in time with the Ensemble Dan Luz al Sol; we remembered the peace and spirituality of Gandhi with Rão Kyao and let ourselves be lulled by the sweet voice of Teresa Salgueiro in a wonderful universe of Christmas carols. This was also a solidarity program with União Audiovisual and the donations were very generous. It was a beautiful program, with a full house and heart.
