International Iberian Mask Parade

More than 450 participants (hailing from central and northern Portugal, as well as from Asturias, Galicia, Castile and León, Extremadura, and Andalusia) will parade through the streets of Lisbon celebrating the ancestral tradition known as the “mask rituals”. The famous Venetian masks of Italy will also make an appearance on a day that will include performances featuring Pauliteiros and the Asturian Bagpipes.

The route starts at Praça do Município and follows Rua do Comércio, Rua do Ouro, Rua da Vitória and Rua da Prata, finishing at Terreiro do Paço.
