Festas de Lisboa
O Arraial que deu
Once a year, always in June, the digital narrative journalism magazine Divergente and the architecture studio Traça suspend their professional activity to organize O Arraial que deu (The Festival That Gave). Work desks become kitchen counters and storage areas, computers give way to pots and pans, and the street becomes a dance floor with rhythmic people controlling the playlists. It's a way to raise funds for fixed expenses and a time to be with neighbors, friends, family, and all those who want to celebrate the Popular Saints' festivities and contribute to the continuity of both projects.
