On the 11th March, the Passeio Carlos do Carmo, which extends from the Belém River Station to the Alcântara Docks, was inaugurated.
Family, friends, admirers, Carlos Moedas, the mayor of Lisbon, Diogo Moura, councilor for Culture, Sara Pereira, director of the Fado Museum and the musicologist Rui Vieira Nery attended the tribute paid by the Lisbon City Council to the great artist.
Camané performed some themes immortalized by Carlos do Carmo, including one of his most iconic songs and official song of the city: “Lisboa Menina e Moça”.
