Festival of Diversity

2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the first Festival of Diversity, promoted by SOS Racismo in partnership with several other associations. It aims to bring to the public space work produced by the many associations and artists (hailing from the city’s edges or from the centre) which doesn’t receive the visibility that its creativity and its artists deserve. At the same time, the festival seeks to combat any form of discrimination, as well as fighting against prejudice, racism, xenophobia, homophobia and machismo. Therefore, the festival stage (as in previous years) will be the endpoint for the LGBT Parade and is also where speeches by the organising associations will be given.
