Festas de Lisboa
Fair of Santo Amaro

A celebration which is unique at the Festas de Lisboa, with the Hermitage as the backdrop. The Romaria de Santo Amaro brings together thousands of people at a lively fair. The music and dancing go hand in hand with sport and cultural activities during five days of festivities, where there’s no lack of concerts or the traditional snacks associated with saints day festivals. Performing at the Romaria will be Quim Barreiro (27th June) and Ricardo Ribeiro (28th June) amongst others. And, of course, there’s the Marcha de Alcântara parade to entertain revellers on the first day of the festival.
