“Home Sweet Sound” is a stream of creative acts marked by humour and lyricism. Although it would be a challenge to classify this show within a certain style, it does perhaps fit somewhere in music/performance art. In their words, “a meeting between Vítor Rua and Joana Gama and an idiomatic journey.” On the same stage, the composer and the improvisor/performer get caught up in a games of psychological and social relationships.

Joana Gama is a Portuguese pianist who spreads herself across multiple projects, both individually and collaboratively, in the areas of cinema, dance, theatre, photography and music.

Vítor Rua is a Portuguese musician, producer and composer. He has dedicated a large part of his life to rock, electronic, acousmatic and improvised music and musique concrete and has had a prolific career since the 1970s.
