DESCOLA, a programme of creative activities for teachers and students, has been named Best Mediation Project by the jury at the PATRIMONIO.PT Awards.
DESCOLA is a Lisbon-based strategic intervention project which focuses on the relationship between culture and education. It provides activities in different subject areas and for different academic years.
The PATRIMÓNIO.PT Awards aim to highlight good practice in the national cultural heritage sector, providing recognition for projects, organisations and professionals.
The Mediation Award is open to projects which bring cultural heritage closer to the public through initiatives run by heritage mediators and educators who have actively promoted inclusive participation and social and intellectual accessibility of the community or certain target audiences.
