A book in the shape of a poem, with verses by José Jorge Letria and illustrations by André Letria, all in black and white, with the exception of the red carnations. Narrated from the point of view of a carnation, the book tells us of its journey on the morning of 25 April, 1974.

A revolution which is celebrated with the name of a flower could only be a poetic act. Indeed, painter Vieira da Silva suggested as much in the famous picture he produced after 25 April, 1974 and on which he wrote the phrase “poetry is on the streets”. In the 25 por 3 project, poetry is present on the stage and in the gesture of sharing provided by the students of two Lisbon schools.
