Internationally recognised as one of the foremost figures in twentieth-century music history, Amália Rodrigues made the world her stage and crafted herself an unparalleled international music career. Joana Mortágua and Ana Rita Bessa kick off this series of talks regarding Amália Rodrigues' legacy of freedom and artistic independence.
