Batida x Tigerman

An unprecedented DJ set blending the Afro-electronic sounds of Batida with the blues of Tigerman.

Batida is Pedro Coquenão, a Luso-Angolan artist who has achieved recognition as a key figure in global Afro-electronic music. He is also known for his work in radio, from Voxx to Worldwide FM, as well as in visual arts as an author and filmmaker, and in theatre as a director.

Tigerman, The Legendary Tigerman, is Paulo Furtado. A Portuguese musician and composer, his impressive career has been characterised by the reinvention of genres, such as blues and garage. In addition to music, he combines sound with theatre, cinema, photography, and directing.

For this DJ Set in Back to Back with Tigerman, Batida also invited Piny and André Cabral, who accompany him in his practice of transforming any DJ moment and space into something else.
This will also be the case at the Capitólio.
