Bordalo’s Lisbon Walking Tour

Every road in Lisbon has numerous trails to explore: urban landscapes and layers of history that show us who we are. Bordalo was a born-and-bred lisboeta and it was here that he lived and worked. Through his work we can follow the evolution of the city at the end of the 19th century, but we can also see it as a metaphor of political and social life. On this tour, the pavements will be painted with the unique humour and critical spirit with which Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro viewed Lisbon and his experiences.
