Festas de Abril
Freedom Passes Through Here
As part of the 48th anniversary celebrations, the fourth floor of the former Aljube prison has become a space for conviviality and freedom. There’s a bar with revolutionary cocktails, a dance floor featuring protest songs and three murals (writing, drawing and collage) where the public is invited to leave their own artistic contributions. New words, new images, new ideas, what the revolution was and is 48 years later.
