Hot Clube de Portugal Jazz Orchestra

The Hot Clube de Portugal’s Jazz Orchestra has created a set for this concert which is based on the traditional American songbook, with a strong Christmas influence. Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, iconic voices of American jazz, will be remembered, this time through Christmas standards that are synonymous with the festive season and which both singers made unforgettable.

The Hot Clube de Portugal’s Jazz Orchestra was created in 1990 and is made up of some of the best jazz musicians on the Portuguese scene. Currently conducted by Luís Cunha, it has positioned itself musically somewhere between classic pieces and the music of prestigious contemporary composers.
