Festivities return to Lisbon
Save the Date!
Get yourselves ready for Festas na Rua (22 August – 1 October), a Lisbon-wide festival bringing good times to the city, as people return from their summer break. With a programme of events featuring magic, dance, music, sound art, video and more besides, there’ll be something for all ages.
With Lisbon’s parks and squares hosting many of the events, the concert in Vale do Silêncio on 9 September promises to be one of the highlights, with the Gulbenkian Orchestra celebrating the work of composer John Williams, famous for his film scores and winner of several Oscars.
Also back are Lisboa Mágica, Lisboa Soa and Lisboa Mistura, but there’ll be much more to see and hear as Lisbon returns from holiday, in a programme of free events which will be announced soon.
