THE OTHER LIFE OF PUPPETS – Collections from the Museum Reserves is the new temporary exhibition at the Museu da Marioneta that opens to the public on the 28th of July.
More than a hundred puppets from the Museum Reserves are shown to the public for the first time. Originally from Europe, Africa and Asia, made between the end of the 19th and 20th centuries, puppets using four manipulation techniques: strings, stick, glove and mixed technique, three portable theaters and a shadow theater, are part of the exhibition.
This exhibition can be visited until the 29th of October.
