The Miracles of Saint Anthony is a theatre show with objects and animated forms that dramatises some of the best-known miracles of the famous saint.
Through the narration of texts describing the miracles attributed to St Anthony, director, playwright and performer André Murraças uses a table with a few objects to illustrate what is being said. The healing of a paralysed boy, a man saved from being crushed, or the raising of a dead man are just some of the miraculous stories portrayed in this short show, which also includes magic and special effects. The show offers a way for the public to learn a little more about the story of Saint Anthony, in an intimate setting within the exhibition space of the Museum of Lisbon – Santo António in Lisbon.
