Vieira da Silva em Festa
We’ll be celebrating Maria Helena Vieira da Silva’s birthday with a programme that will take over the museum and the Jardim das Amoreiras, featuring a series of workshops, a graphic publishing fair, readings and performances for the whole family.
Histórias de Bichos da Seda (Stories of Silk Worms), third chapter of the 331 Amoreiras in Metamorphosis exhibition, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Museum, is also the theme that will bring together a multitude of voices. They will tell us stories about botany, guide us around an old silk fabric factory, and sing tales of various transformations. Composers will dialogue and occupy the exhibition space, while poets will bring words to life under the shade of a tree. All this in a one-day celebration.
