FIMFA celebrates its 25th anniversary from May 8 to June 1.
Puppetry under the microscope, pictorial journeys into the human body, vacuum robots, new approaches on literature classics, flying knives or classical ballets are reinvented, such as The Rite of Spring – Stravinsky’s revolutionary work, with fascinating costumes that recreate insects, or The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky performed by vegetable dancers?

A visual feast without limits!
For 25 days, Lisbon becomes once again the international platform for puppetry and animated forms, with the presentation of more than twenty projects from renowned companies and creators, as well as new voices, most of them having here their Portuguese premieres, and one world premiere, from thirteen countries: Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, United States and United Kingdom.

A Tarumba – Teatro de Marionetas produces in Lisbon, from 8th May to 1st June, the 25th edition of FIMFA Lx – International Festival of Puppetry and Animated Form.
