Opened on May 22, 1894 as Theatro Dona Amelia, São Luiz celebrated 130 years of life and many stories.
On the theatre’s birthday, the public came to sing happy birthday around a big cake, blow out the candles and celebrate the long life of shows, concerts, films and also debates and conversations that bring this beloved theatre to life every day.
