Over the next month and a half, it’s all about two words: draw and dare!
This 14th edition of the competition is open to everyone of all ages. Whether you’re Portuguese or foreign, resident in Portugal or not, we invite you to participate in this annual competition which pushes the boundaries of creativity in new sardine designs.
From 6 February to 5 March, we’ll be accepting design entries, created individually or as a group, with a limit of three designs per application.
All digital and manual techniques are allowed for creating the designs, as long as they meet certain requirements, such as originality, use of the sardine template, the absence of any element identifying its author or any advertising, commercial or institutional references.
Apart from their originality and creativity, the designs’ legibility and adaptability to different communication materials will be decisive factors in choosing this year’s five winning sardine designs. Each winner will receive a prize worth €1500.
Design entries must be submitted on the contest platform, accessible on the EGEAC website, by 18.00 on 5 March.
The winners will be announced by 31 May.
