Political Festival

The Political Festival returns to São Jorge Cinema with Disinformation as its central theme and the war in Europe as a backdrop. There’ll be four days of films, music, debates, performances, shows and conversations dedicated to how disinformation is a threat to democracy, leads to the polarisation, discrimination and marginalisation of demographic groups and undermines citizens’ trust in the media and journalism. All activities are accessible (films will include Portuguese subtitles and Portuguese sign language).
