On the night of April 24th, Terreiro do Paço was the stage for the Freedom Party. Vitorino sang Abril em Flor, a show commissioned and produced by the Lisbon City Council and EGEAC, in the company of Mafalda Veiga, Márcia, Luís Trigacheiro, Zeca Medeiros and the Cantadeiras and Cantadores do Redondo. Poetry was present on video, with poems by Manuel Alegre, Sophia de Mello Breyner, Jonas Negalha and Ruy Belo spoken by Aldina Duarte, Capicua, Carlão and Tim. António Jorge Gonçalves created, from some photographs, a universe in hand-drawn live projected on stage during the show.

The night also featured a video map alluding to the 25th of April, projected on the facades of the buildings in Terreiro do Paço, and a fireworks show.
